Probably because you were and still are curious.

Sidebar: there is nothing wrong with walking to work.

Because you're a masochist who doesn't believe he can be loved unless he lets himself be abused by others.

Because you're addicted.

Because the insinuations in his post and what his post implies about how he feels about people is harsh enough criticism in of itself.

why is everyone so old

why doesnt everyone have a website named after their full name

If you feel like you are too young, it is probably because you are. My advice will be to wait. Eventually everyone will be too young, and then you'll feel outdated and can brandish your cane ignobly at the injustice of it all/lack of a flat tax.

If you are upset that you are the only person with a website based on your full name, then my advice is to find someone who shares your name, help them become famous, then sell them your website for a nice mint.

I feel as though you weren't seeking advice, which is what commonly happens before mansplaining occurs.

How do I combat my tilt? I get really frustrated by certain things while I'm playing Magic and I want to be able to enjoy myself despite them.

Depends on why you tilt. Focusing on playing a better game as opposed to winning usually helps. I understand it's hard to lose when experience informs the fact you are a good player, but sometimes crap happens. I know I lost a match today because I, after land taxing for three lands with 2 on the battlefield, drew another 7 lands across 9 draws. But being forced to play in a way that, bc i had no action, made me eek out as much value from my plays as possible was much more interesting than the other two matches I played, bc I just curb stomped them without thinking.

My main thing was that I was playing against Miracles and I got really angry because Counterbalance is extremely oppressive and impossible to beat. It just doesn't make for fun game states. It's not that I think I deserve to win because I'm a good player (I don't think I am), but rather I wish the games had more balance to them. I feel like such an underdog and I use a lot of energy to attempt to win just for them to nonchalantly just counter everything and win. It's awful.

Magic is my outlet but sometimes it's my crutch. I supposed I need to identify why I'm playing the game and enjoy it for what it is rather than needing it to derive enjoyment.

my advice is to believe in yourself with total and at times completely irrational confidence

this is the solution to all problems imo

save your self-help derivative tripe for the "general" advice thread >:(
