When Tone Shift enters the battlefield, choose Lighter and Softer or Darker and Edgier.
Lighter and Softer - All creatures gain +1/+1
Darker and Edgier - All creatures gain -1/-1

Agreed. That card is worth a COTW nomination, but I'd make a few small changes.

-Turn skip instead of extra turn.
-Sorcery.
-Make the punch hit harder. 3-4 damage should be fine. No ones getting knocked out by 1 damage.

That was the idea.

I agree that it should be a sorcery. The skipping a turn though. I wanted to avoid in-elegant wording. Can I say:

"That player or that creatures controller skips their next turn."
