At the beginning of the first combat phase during your turn, each opponent chooses any number of creatures he or she controls. Only those creatures can block this turn, and they must block if able.

(basically, your opponents have to choose their blockers before you even attack them. "first combat phase" is to defuse weird interactions with Relentless Assault-type cards.)

Tahngarth's Shout

Aethereal - Untap all creatures that attacked this turn. After this phase there is an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase. Exile Tahngarth's Shout with an aether counter on it.
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, if Tahngarth's Shout is in exile with an aether counter on it, you may pay . If you do, Tahngarth's Shout deals 5 damage to target creature or player.

Gerrard's Call

Aethereal - You gain 10 life. Exile Gerrard's Call with an aether counter on it.
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, if Gerrard's Call is in exile with an aether counter on it, you may pay . If you do, creatre a 2/2 white Human Knight creature token with first strike.

Arvad's Curse

Aethereal - Destroy target nonblack creature. It can't be regenerated. Exile Arvad's Curse with an aether counter on it.
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, if Arvad's Curse is in exile with an aether counter on it, you may pay . If you do, each player loses 1 life, discards a card, sacrifices a creature, and then sacrifices a land.

Players skip their untap steps.
At beginning of each player's upkeep, that player creates three 0/1 blue Illusion creature tokens with flying. Those tokens have, "Whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it." Then that player untaps a permanent they control for each creature they control.

For the rest of the game, whenever an opponent casts a spell, you may create a legendary 7/7 black and green Elemental creature token named Gorbus the Boglord. That token has trample, hexproof from all colors, and "Pay 3 life: Regenerate."

Even the dullest goblins know to stay out of the Gorbus Bogs, for there are creatures that dwell there with a thirst for blood and a hunger for raw meat.
