I don't think haste on mana dudes is a great thing because it enables Heritage Druid-style shenanigans where you can play a bunch of stuff in a row.

Yeah but this guy costs more than he produces

Heritage Druid was broken with Nettle Sentinel because they could produce the same as what they cost, plus more with untap shenanegans. This is just a Mind Stone with legs

lightning is probably secondary in (obv primary in )

lightning blow
energy storm
storm herd (specifically the thundering noise referenced in the flavour text)
stormfront riders
maybe stormfront pegasus, although it doesn't have lightning in its art like the former does

and probably some more, i just searched for cards with lightning or storm in their name. blue is probably also secondary for lightning although i'd probably put it behind white. The sky is very white and clouds specifically are very white and lightning has strong associations with both of those things so i think it is natural for it to be white. Lightning is also related to light which is very white.

I think red still has a better claim to lightning though, because of its association with destruction, unpredictability, and speed, which are all red hallmarks.

Phasing was actually my inspiration for this and I don't think that idea is actually that bad. But the name would need changing. :confused:Blink?

I went this route once before trying to fix auras, but the poster above you informed me that it's ugly to have keywords grant other keywords.

Making a balanced Mox has been a goal of mine since I started making cards, to the point where on the old forums, this thread was called "Parad's Moxymorons"

I acknowledge that this one (uncounterable, untargetable, and potentially indefatigable) is a bridge too far, but you can't curse a gal for dreaming.

Sorry, I am just pretty po'ed at the moment.

It needs an answer, and a larger drop in card advantage.
Also note that having two CotU in a person's hand makes your first card cost a lot less.

You're allowed to be pissed off! I'm pretty critical of you in your threads, so I'd be remiss if it wasn't reciprocated. (Not that I'm the reason you were pissed off.)

I mean, not that I want you to hate my cards. I'm just saying, I certainly don't mind if you critique them.

its nowhere close to balanced, yeah

i like the powers of 2 slime because it drops to 1 each turn pretty organically which is my biggest problem with powers of 2 cards.

Adding supplemental effects like card draw to a mana ability opens the floodgates to some really damn strange rules interactions.

I would rather the card draw be a triggered ability, like City of Brass.

Yeah I never really understood mana ability timing rulings. Lion's Eye Diamond's errata still only kinda makes sense to me.
