I'm back! I survived the GP, and a week without a computer ( :takei: !), and the Con Crud (TM) which cut me down like a stalk of wheat the moment my plane touched back down in Boston! Phew! :D

* * *

Happy birthday, CKY! I hope your day goes excellently well, and concludes with the cake of your choice!

Happy birthday CKY! Hope you're making some headway over in Singapore. You're our only representative in the area so it's up to you to impress!

I am in the middle of the Swedish equivalent of the SATs. Just got back from lunch and getting ready for the fourth of five hourlong tests. How are you spending your Saturday?

Just got back from lunch with my grandma, looking forward to some ME3 and later a Lego exhibit :)

I just changed the oil in my truck, mowed the lawn, and am waiting for my ride so I can pick up my car from the shop. In a few hours, I'm going to my FLGS (which isn't so local, but it's what I've got) to attend a Legend of the Five Rings tournament and probably buy some games. I've got to buy some windshield fluid at some point there because my truck is out. This evening I plan to play either some Hollow Knight (which I just started) or some Squirm, possibly even both.

EDIT: Addendum: Decided to start watching Darkwing Duck while waiting for my ride.

I'm dogsitting two of them as well. Except they're too clever by half. And the smaller of the 2 is still 60 pounds of dog.

Today I saw a local production of The Sound of Music. It was amazing, and not only because it was the first time in over a month that my wife and I did something just the two of us.

That's a lot of dog!

That still seems like a lot of dog. (Disclaimer: I know nothing about dogs.)

Aww, that sounds like fun! :)

I find it hard not to be a bit unimpressed by things like this, with my current menagerie being composed of 3 rottweilers (probably 60-80 lbs each), a fat toy mutt (~15 lbs), 5 miniature horses (no real clue for their weight, google says they should be 200+ lbs on average), and an unknown number but certainly more than 3 cats (weight unknown). By number, this is certainly large, but I also grew up with 4 full-sized horses (1,000+ lbs each) which by now filled just under the first half of my life with between 1 to 2 large dogs (dobermans, rottweilers, German shepherds, etc.) and a toy house dog. That, and I've had experience around (though not very directly) bears, elephants, big cats, zebras, camels, and chimps. I've even had baby chimps in my lap (and in my mouth; they like exploring mouths). I'm actually probably forgetting a few species.
