If I was a cop, KoD would have guessed my target and result correctly, somehow, but I'm obviously vanilla town, so that's moot.

Case in point: No deaths. So either scum(s) decided to no kill (which is odd), or someone was poisoned/protected.

As it stands, three people have investigated me. One investigated Neo. One investigated Rag.

Investigator: Target -> Result

Rag: KoD -> Scum
Neo: KoD -> Scum
Dusky: KoD -> Town

Argh: Neo -> Town
HW: Neo -> Town

KoD: Rag -> Town

The first round of investigations helps since a lot of people targeted the same players. By tomorrow, Neo should be resolved.

Given what was revealed so far, I don't think those that revealed town investigations are sane scum. Otherwise the player would have died.

WRT to my position, I believe both Neo and Rag are paranoid/insane. Dusky I believe to be either naive scum, naive town, or sane town.

That's about the best I can manage. Rag I don't know since I'm not sure of my own sanity. Well, come to think of it, it is possible that an insane Rag could have protected me from a sane Dusky, but more information would be needed to back that assertion up.

And here I was, working on my spreadsheet, like I do for dethy games, and I realized, it is useless based on this:

Dusky, did you mean naive? If you're paranoid, you only get scum results.

The most useful piece of information I can see is that KoD was the only person to pick his target. So if no one targets Rag tonight, that will give us info on KoD's alignment. If Rag dies, KoD is to poisoner, otherwise he's either town or harmless scum. In fact, the best thing is if everyone picks targets that weren't chosen N1. This is all assuming that everyone is working under the assumption that they are town.

You literally cannot be paranoid. You got a town result. Do you mean insane?

And I explained why we get more info from KoD than anyone else. It is in the sentence right after the one you quoted. If no one else targets Rag tonight, we get info based on if R lives out dies. No one else gets as much info, because of overlapping targets. Poisoner KoD is the only one who could cause Rag's death tonight.

And I don't think we should hang anyone today. In regular mafia, lynches give more public information than not, but that is not true in dethy. Especially because there was no kill N1, I see no reason to think of today as anything other than a time to share info and discuss strategy.

Ah, apologies - I misunderstood your sentence (I thought you said he was the only one who actually picked someone). Makes sense now.

While no killing would certainly be a good option, since we can gain information via the second round of investigations, you can certainly gain a lot of information by lynching me.

The only downside is that I'd be dead. As town. But other than that, you do gain a lot of information.
