on an unrelated note I had a dream last night where I realized I'd screwed up Ulrexes's storyline because he was actually Jace.

I don't know.

There are a few discrepancies with FOS:WM, like the Claw of the Sea being listed as "the fastest ship in Korrath's fleet" when that title belongs to the Whisperwood Runner class in the wargame. I made a few small changes, like renaming Arbor's Light to Arbor's Fury, but I didn't touch numbers for the most part.

I'll switch it to "warship", the runner is a small enough craft that it doesn't really fall into a comparable category.

yeah, Arbor's Light was gonna be Kimil's ship, but then as I was writing it I was thinking about how it doesn't make sense for Kimil's ship to be represented by such a small, non-violent card, so I switched it up. it's now a little weird that the printed legendary ship in the set doesn't isn't in War Machines, but for the same reason as the Swiftpad it probably doesn't make sense to include a diplomatic canoe in a wargame.

added physical descriptions. I never noticed how androgynous Ossia was, but I guess that's not that surprising coming from me.

I put this up to vote, and also added a quick section on geography. the geography of the individual Isles is in their entries, but I wanted something to give people a perspective on the relative positioning of Isles, as well as their relative climates. ideally I'd have a map, but I'm not capable of making a decent map, and though there was some discussion of doing one at some point, that never happened. so if you want to work with me to make a map (or multiple maps, if you want to do them for the Isles too!) lemme know and I'd be happy to do that, but for now there's something on positioning so people knows which Isles are next to which.

Two sentences in so far and I already have my first criticism: capitalization, capitalization, capitalization.

sentence capitalization is for chumps. it's entirely redundant, given the existence of end-marking punctuation.

But periods are easy to miss. They're small. Granted, it's probably not worth having a new form for every character in the alphabet just for capitalization. They could have just put a line under them or something.

even if you miss the period itself, the gap between words is longer for its existence, and even in the incredibly unlikely scenario in which you somehow miss all of that, context will likely sort things out for you.

also I'm lazy and don't like doing it.

Haha. That would probably get some visitors, actually. Also, nice use of capitalization.

it doesn't sound like a travel agent unless you capitalize every single word.

Alqin features a fissure into an underwater glacier, and the Frigid lived within the ice.

I think this section sticks out stylistically from the rest of the dossier (as I've read thus far) and even from the rest of the Qelan portion. It kind of slowly transitions from this rigid, straightforward presentation into looser, almost joking style, before snapping back to the straightforward approach and never turning back.

It creates kind of a hiccup in the reading of it. I think if the entire guide was easier going it wouldn't be as jarring, but so far I'm leaning more towards this section needing a bit of cleaning up to match the rest of the guide.
