Welcome to the forums!

I actually posted kind of a similar list a while ago. Might want to revisit that as I did not run Confront The Unknown there, but that card fits the strategy really well.

With many ways to generate Clues, I think you should lower your curve by quite a bit as you have a lot of ways to spend your mana. My list runs Gideon and Avacyn as the only cards above 3 CMC, and that has been working out really well.

A card I really like in this strategy is Evolutionary Leap, especially seeing the synergy with Ulvenwald Mysteries. Also, I think you should run Nissa, Voice of Zendikar I think.

Thanks for the welcome, and for the advice.

To be honest i don't know why i chucked in linvala and plated crusher, doesn't fit the theme of the deck, i think i just feel comfortable with having a big creature, but thalia's lieutenant, tracker or militia captain get plenty big enough so those are definite cuts.

So that's -1 plated crusher -1linvala the preserver

+1Nissa, voice of zendikar and I'm unsure whether to remove bellower or archangel of tithes to fit in 2 evo leaps as both work well in the deck for me, but i'll have a tinker and see what works, i may remove both and stick in the 4th confront the unknown, always nice to win a game with a 1/1 human token boosted to a 6/6 plus when it goes unblocked.

Edit
I've played a few games with bellower, linvala and plated crusher out, in their place i've put 2 evo leaps and Nissa. Massive improvement to the deck, the evo leap helps with clue generation once ulvenwald mysteries is in play and i've been bouncing back from board wipes to hit lethal on the next turn or many times cause a rage quit. In one game i pumped a 1/1 human token to a 15/15 thanks to 2 confront the unknowns. I'm surprised at just how powerful this deck is, i was unsure if it would fit in the steam metagame, but it certainly holds it's own.

Selesnya eldrazi
Creatures (22):
2 x Sylvan advocate
3 x Duskwatch recruiter
2 x Eldrazi displacer
1 x Nissa, vastwood seer
2 x Tireless tracker
2 x Matter reshaper
2 x Thought-knot seer
1 x Archangel Avacyn
2 x Reality smasher
1 x Greenwarden of Murasa
1 x Woodland bellower
1 x Oblivion sower
1 x Ulamog, the ceaseless hunger
1 x Kozilek, the great distortion
Non-creature spells (14):
2 x Declaration in stone
3 x Ruin in their wake
2 x Pulse of Murasa
3 x Nissa's pilgrimage
2 x From beyond
2 x Planar outburst
Lands (24):
2 x Plains
6 x Wastes
8 x Forest
4 x Evolving wilds
2 x Canopy vista
2 x Sunpetal grove

I was thinking that, in theory, this is the best color combination to use colorless eldrazi so this is what I came up with. Usually I'm trying to achieve some tempo advantage by small ramps (thus speeding up some mid-size eldrazi like TNS or Smasher) and use that in midrange style to finish them off when I get ahead enough.
Late game we ramp faster and thus work on thinning down our deck and using our big eldrazi as finishers when we drain opponent's removal stash.

So far it has win rate about 80% at 30+ on iOS.
Thoughts?

I've been fiddling with this all morning. I made a Werewolves deck, and felt that the thing that made Werewolves half decent, was that their creatures actually got pretty big sometimes.. in the 5-7 P/T range. But.. they're werewolves, and they have the stupid flip mechanic where the opponent gets a little more power over your board than I'd like. They also have no flying presence, no first strike, vigilance, etc. but the trample stuff is nice (as is the red burn spells). So.. before SOI dropped, I figured Patron of the Valiant would get a little better with the support mechanic coming into the game.. and playing Werewolves reminded me that I wanted to inspect this archetype.

Results: The creatures can get pretty big. I've gone 5-2 this morning while swapping cards in and out.. and I think there might be something here. I lost to a Prowess deck that played a Jori En with one other card in hand (it was a Titan Strength) and prowess dude on the field. I had 10 life.. lethal on the backswing guaranteed. He swung in and played the Titan Strength.. Jori En drew him another card.. and it was a second (his third of the match) Titan Strength. FML. The other loss was being stuck on two mana in a 25 land deck.. I'm not really putting much stock in that one (I've since gone to 24 and lowered the curve).

The deck is very anthem-y.. the creatures have lots of ways to get permanently buffed.. and there's a lot of mana sinks/combat tricks in here with Joraga Auxiliary and Duskwatch Recruiter. I have some other ideas I want to bounce off you guys after I post the list.

3 x Consul's Lieutenant
2 x Sylvan Advocate
1 x Undercity Troll
3 x Duskwatch Recruiter
2 x Reprisal
3 x Lead By Example
2 x Declaration in Stone

2 x Bygone Bishop
2 x Tireless Tracker
3 x Citadel Castellan
3 x Joraga Auxiliary
2 x Always Watching
1 x Nissa, Voice of Xendikar

2 x Kytheon's Irregulars
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

1 x Archangel Avacyn
3 x Patron of the Valiant

9 x Plains
7 x Forest
2 x Canopy Vista
2 x Sunpetal Grove
1 x Rogue's Passage
3 x Evolving Wilds

There are a few options I want to discuss.. paths the deck can modify.

1) The deck can get a lot faster, adding in one-drops like Expedition Envoy and Sunblade Elf.. and something at the 2 spot like Snapping Gnarlid.

2)The deck can splash a few more checklands and add in cards that have counters on them already like Woodland Wanderer, Tajuru Stalwart and we could play Infuse with the Elements. This would give us even more creatures with counters for the sweet Patron synergy.. which actually pays off nicely. Adding a team-wide permanent buff and a 4/4 flier is pretty dope.

Other notes: The reason Reprisal is there is because just running Declaration isn't enough.. and I'm often holding up two-three mana anyway for a Duskwatch Activation, Lead by Example or Reprisal. I'll also hold open mana for Joraga Auxiliary activations.. which pushes through damage nicely. The deck can deal with most creatures in a 1v1 fight.. but the really big ones are the problem. I want to keep my interaction/tricks instant speed if at all possible. Declaration hasn't even been that good. I wonder if I should add some of the white indestructability instants.. like Make a Stand or Enshrouding Mist.

Anyway.. I'd love to hear your feedback. You guys were a big help with the Orzhov/Colorless list.. which is running better than ever thanks to your feedback.

Edit: What do y'all think about Expose Evil in a deck like this?

Great stuff. I just won against superfriends after he wiped the board too early with planar outburst. Thought-knot was to great advantage as always, I exiled Chandra from his hand. He dropped Nahiri, Gideon and Ob Nixilis. Exiled Greenwarden and destroyed one Tracker 7/8. My board was one Tracker, Thought-knot and Sylvan Advocate, killing his blockers every turn. I didn't attack one turn after he dropped Nahiri so she couldn't exile my creatures. I dropped Ulamog, exiled Nahiri and Ob Nixilis. Killed Gideon and he quits two turns later after I dropped Reality Smasher and evaded his blockers.

Feels a bit light on planeswalker fights and Ulamog saved me but I think that's the way it is. One game the dude quits instantly after I dropped Kozilek as my last card.

Been doing good so far about 7/2 record I think. And I'm not the best player out there. Tks for sharing.

I've had a play around with my clue deck for a while now and made a few changes that tweak the performance of the deck

Creatures
3 x Blisterpod
3 x Duskwatch recruiter
3 x lambholt pacifist
2 x hanweir militia captain
2 x thalia's lieutenant
2 x tireless tracker
2 x bygone bishop
1 x Nissa, vastwood Seer
1 x archangel avacyn
1 x angel of renewal

Instants
4 x confront the unknown

Sorcery
2 x declaration in stone
3 x angelic purge

Enchantments
3 x ulvenwald mysteries
2 x evolutionary leap

Planeswalkers
1 x gideon, ally of zendikar
1 x nissa, voice of zendikar

Land
4 x plains
8 x forest
2 x canopy vista
2 x westvale abbey
2 x sunpetal grove
4 x evolving wilds
2 x tranquil expanse

I still may remove angel of renewal for a 4th copy of ulvenwald mysteries, i've never cast her yet, and ormendahl is actually a much better (and 1 mana cheaper). I've already talked myself out of it whilst typing this, so out she comes and + another ulvenwald mysteries. One of the funniest things about the deck is that both Nissa and Gideon are just another pump spell for me. once again, if anyone has any suggestions for improvements or critique, or if you even want to tell me how bad the deck really is , please don't hesitate.

Very similar to what I arrived at...just that I focus a bit more on ramp and above all, in getting my landrops, which is crucial for this deck, imo...

Wasted Selesnya

2 x Jaddi Offshoot

2 x Sylvan advocate
4 x Sylvan Ranger
2 x Declaration in stone

2 x Eldrazi displacer
1 x Nissa, vastwood seer
2 x Tireless tracker
3 x Nissa's pilgrimage

2 x Thought-knot seer
2 x From beyond
4 x Explosive Vegetation
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

1 x Archangel Avacyn
2 x Reality smasher
2 x Planar outburst

1 x Greenwarden of Murasa
1 x Woodland bellower
1 x Nissa's Renewal

1 x Ulamog, the ceaseless hunger
1 x Kozilek, the great distortion

4 x Plains
2 x Wastes
7 x Forest

4 x Evolving wilds
2 x Canopy vista
2 x Rogue's Passage
2 x Sunpetal grove

Well, the focus on ramp is not just to get our big daddys fast... Trackers and Displacers become lethal with land after land, maximizing their game is really strong...hence, the 4 Rangers and 8 ramp spells.

And Offshots can make a difference too when they make 8 life by turn 6...I find them crucial against fasts decks. Just two, I hate clogging up on them late game...but they could be well a couple of Recruiters in this midrangish meta, good card too for this deck, no doubt

2 Wastes for the fetching, and RP as the best colorless source in a deck with half a dozen of huge monsters

Gideon is too good to not be there, I believe...and the rest is pretty standard, I'm afraid.

Pretty tight deck...and easily Tier 1.5, imho. Maybe even T1

Why no ulvenwald hydra with rp fetching? I'd also play Linvala. Just ditch the offshoots. If you switch Pilgrimages with Ruin i their wake you'd get the same deck I'm plqying.

Ruins need another balance of basic lands to be useful...another pretty different...I'm happy with 2 wastes

I'm not fan neither of Linvala nor the Hydra...Linvala is bugged and doesn't work properly half the time, at least for me...and the Hydra just dies to almost everything not red...ETB critters like Avy, Murasa, Bellower or the Eldrazi are just better, imho...even more with the Displacers. If Linvala worked right, maybe she would go in...

I really want 8 low cost critters...always that I put less than that, I end being rushed in 1 of each 5 games...Offshots works wonders with all the ramp, and recruiters can get your Knots and Smashers one turn earlier and that's something, besides being amazing mini-Peas lategame with all the mana...I wouldn't change any of those options for 2 more fatties that are worse than the 7 (arguabily 11 ) that I already have there

For the sake of completeness, here is the deck that took me from rank 35 to 40. Grindy GW token cheese with a healthy dose of control. Angelic Purge is underrated, IMO.

BROKEN TOKEN
2 Consul's Lieutenant
2 Hanweir Militia Captain
2 Knight of the White Orchid
1 Elvish Visionary
2 Rot Shambler
2 Bygone Bishop
1 Nissa, Vastwood Seer
2 Tireless Tracker
2 Citadel Castellan
1 Greenwarden of Murasa

1 Confront the Unknown
1 Oath of Nissa
1 Evolutionary Leap
2 Celestial Flare
2 Declaration in Stone
3 Angelic Purge
1 Oath of Gideon
1 Nissa, Voice of Zendikar
3 Ulvenwald Mysteries
1 Slayer's Plate
1 From Beyond
1 Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

11 Plains
5 Forest
2 Westvale Abbey
2 Sunpetal Grove
4 Evolving Wilds

Evo Leap looks good on paper but never really did much. Make a Stand was in an earlier version but was cut because I never really needed it. VIsionary is really just in there because I"m missing a 3rd Rot Shambler. Slayer's Plate is slow as hell but great against heavy removal.

Well I suppose I best have this ready for when I tilt and want to inflict on others that which has been inflicted upon me. Plus the AI is never gonna know what hit it! Selesnya humans:

Creatures (27)
1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
3 x Hamlet Captain
2 x Duskwatch Recruiter
2 x Selfless Spirit
2 x Thalia's Lieutenant
2 x Consul's Lieutenant
2 x Knight of the White Orchid
2 x Bygone Bishop
2 x Tireless Tracker
2 x Thalia, Heretic Cathar
3 x Citadel Castellan
2 x Heron's Grace Champion
1 x Gisela, the Broken Blade
1 x Archangel Avacyn

Spells (6)
2 x Declaration in Stone
2 x Always Watching
2 x Collective Effort

Planeswalkers (2)
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar
1 x Nissa, Voice of Zendikar

Land (25)
13 x Plains
8 x Forest
2 x Sunpetal Grove
2 x Canopy Vista

I'd offer some deep, valuable insight into card choices and strategy, but the deck is so linear there is no depth to explore. Basically turn your creatures sideways > profit.

Not running any manafixing despite having only one possible 1-drop seems suspect to me; so does running 25 lands. I'd either include Evolving Wilds or Tranquil Expanse; likely the former since your duals interact better with it. That should allow you to go down on lands a bit; I'd be thinking 5 Forests and 11 Plains should be enough; totalling 24 lands.

Nissa, Voice of Zendikar looks like she could get cut - she does some nice things but she's also quite a strain on your mana. Maybe cut her and the Consul's Lieutenants for some 1-drops (Anointer of Champions maybe).

Also, I think I'd like to see Hanweir Militia Captain in this list; maybe cut Duskwatch Recruiters for them; you have quite some value machines already.

Hi everyone, this is my very first post here. I have had a WG ramp deck for some time, but with the new cards out I would like some feedback.

Creatures
3x Sunblade Elf
2x Sylvan Advocate
3x Duskwatch Recruiter
1x Nissa, Vastwood Seer
2x Tireless Tracker
1x Gisela, the Broken Blade
1x Archangel Avacyn
2x Outland Colossus
2x Reality Smasher
1x Linvala, the Preserver
1x Woodland Bellower
1x Ulvenwald Hydra
1x Emeria Shepherd
2x Gaea's Revenge
1x Kozilek, the Great Distortion

Sorcery
2x Declaration in Stone
2x Ruin in Their Wake
3x Nissa's Pilgrimage
3x Explosive Vegetation
2x Planar Outburst

Land
7x Plains
9x Forest
2x Wastes
2x Sunpetal Grove
4x Evolving Wilds

The plan is simple stall with small creature/removal while ramping then play big dudes.

Sorry lots of edits, took some tries to get the links working

2 wastes just for Kozi + smashers is waste. Consider Ulamog instead. You are ramping anyways. Take out some mediocre threats and put in good ones. Outland Colossus and Reality Smasher are good but not the best. Sunblade Elf pumps widely but ramp's goal is more of individual threat quality. Anyways know better your goal and find cards that help to achieve it. In addition I'd suggest the green landfall enchantment, Reclamation Sage for your Bellower, Plated Crusher over Gaea's Revenge.

I would maybe also consider Bruna too, she revives a good bunch of your guys and you're already running Gisela so you could end up melding into Brisela.

Thanks for this. I was running mono white humans and I could see there was some potential for a G/W human deck, so I was looking for something like this.

I'm missing 1 copy of Hamlet Captain and 1 copy of Thalia, Heretic Cathar. Currently replaced with Topan Freeblades... The decklist below is the "ideal" deck once I have those 2 missing cards.

I've left out Nissa and the Angels/Champions in favour of some extra 1 drops. I've also included Angelic Destiny because it's pretty solid for 4 mana.
And as someone suggested, I prefer Militia Captains over the Duskwatch Recruiters.

Creatures (29)
One Mana
1 x Kytheon, Hero of Akros
3 x Anointer of Champions
3 x Expedition Envoy

Two Mana
3 x Hamlet Captain
2 x Hanweir Militia Captain
2 x Selfless Spirit
2 x Thalia's Lieutenant
2 x Consul's Lieutenant
2 x Knight of the White Orchid
2 x Bygone Bishop

Three Mana
2 x Tireless Tracker
2 x Thalia, Heretic Cathar
3 x Citadel Castellan

Spells (7)
2 x Collective Effort
2 x Declaration in Stone
2 x Always Watching
1 x Angelic Destiny

Planeswalkers
1 x Gideon, Ally of Zendikar

Land (23)
12 x Plains
5 x Forest
2 x Sunpetal Grove
2 x Canopy Vista
2 x Evolving Wilds

Just need a solid deck for A.I grinding, and a couple of Versus matches per day for quests. I'm missing a lot of the Gatewatch and Eldritch Moon cards so options for other decks are limited. Fortunately I have most of the cards for this particular deck.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Edit: So far have about an 80% win rate with this deck. Most losses are either being mana screwed or getting hit by an turn 4 or 5 board wipe.

Versed a deck on steam that really annoyed me, so I made the most similar thing I could.

I'm starting to realise when deck building, compare your creation to 4 colour (-blue) superfriends. If it's similar, just go back and make the old superfriends from last season. If it's noticeably different, go ahead with your new creation and make a competitive deck. This has helped me a lot this season, not to get bogged down making weird sub par creations.

This deck is goodstuff minus the planeswalker heavy aspect. It could easily take a turn towards superfriends, but with a slightly more focus towards early game and creature presence it is very annoying, and holds up.

So I title the deck, Annoying

1 x Kytheon, hero of akros

3 x Duskwatch recruiter
2 x Blessed alliance
2 x Reprisal
2 x Declaration in stone

2 x Bygone bishop
1 x Nissa, vastwood seer
2 x Tireless tracker
2 x Veteran warleader
3 x Citadel Castellan
2 x Always watching
2 x Collective effort

1 x Gisela, the broken blade
1 x Angelic destiny
1 x Gideon, ally of zendikar

1 x Archangel avacyn
2 x Planar outburst

1 x Linvala, the preserver
1 x Ulvenwald hydra
2 x Nissa's renewal

2 x Gaea's revenge

8 x Plains
