This is a deck idea that looks to maximize face burn with guttersnipe and the Firebrand Archers, with a wizard sub-theme. Nothing revolutionary, but I wonder how consistent it could be at doing 20 damage.

Land (21)
19 x Mountain
2 x Scavenger Grounds

Creatures (22)
4 x Bomat Courier
4 x Soul-Scar Mage
3 x Ghitu Lavarunner
3 x Firebrand Archer
4 x Viashino Pyromancer
4 x Guttersnipe

Planeswalkers (1)
1 x Chandra, Torch of Defiance

Enchantments (2)
2 x The Flame of Keld

Burn (14)
4 x Lightning Strike
4 x Shock
4 x Wizard's Lightning
1 x Banefire
1 x Insult

SB: 1 Lightning Mare
SB: 2 Goblin Chainwhirler
SB: 2 Chandra, Torch of Defiance
SB: 2 Magma Spray
SB: 2 Chandra's Defeat
SB: 4 Abrade
SB: 2 Banefire

Testing will say if it needs more burn/less creatures or vice-versa.
Enjoy!

Why only one Banefire? By the time you get the mana to cast it uncounterable should only take a couple to wipe your opponent.

Banefire is the least mana efficient burn spell, so the other copies went to the sideboard vs counter-control.
Also, getting to uncounterable mode should only happen when you flood or games go very long.

I'm becoming really skeptical about RDW's viability. The 1-drops are just so mediocre...

Magic's a simple game, 2 people take turns playing cards and in the end Divinevert wins 2-0...

Bomat Courier is decent, as is Soul-Scar Mage (people where even asking to ban it), Ghitu Lavarunner is passable at best, but the Chainwhirler meta requires 2 toughness and only the Courier lacks that, but the pay-off is worth it.
The burn package is what makes it appealing (who doesn't like casting lightning bolt in standard?).
We'll see what happens in october after rotation, mono-red will probably lose popularity and esper/BU control will probably take over, that is, if a some new continue doesn't show up.

Mono-red Dragonskull may be a deck and I've seen some pretty nasty Sarkhan's Unsealing lists.

Teferi control seems to me like it'd be your kind of thing vert...

Yeah, UW(b) control is what I'm running, with Chromium, the Mutable being my only black spell to win mirror matches. I find red decks get off the ground way too slow right now to outpace control, especially where so many viable 2-mana counterspells exist.

If you like control you should try the Scarab Hulk deck, I think is better that UW.

UB isn't really Draw-Go. Scarab God makes me tap out on my turn and has way too many answers to be worth it. UW is, IMO, a much stronger control shell, since I'm never really exposed. Teferi requires tapping lands, sure, but he also untaps two right away so I can a better counter shell up around him. For me to feel really comfortable dropping the Scarab God, I'd need to be at around 9 mana and, by that point, UW has locked decks out. Besides, UW has answers for things like Carnage Tyrant.

You got it right, Scarab god is phase 3 of the deck, phase one draw go and Search for Azcanta or blood fast. Phase 2 Torretial Gearhulk, Phase 3 Scarab god... but yes this has no answers to Carnage Tyrant.
