So, I've come around full circle and gone back to path of mettle and boros. Why? Because most of RDW actually turns on path of mettle and mettle is almost like extra chainwhilers before flipping and a better ramunap ruins after. Sound good? Read on...

Pre-update:

Only the soul-scars don't activate the mettle flip and I left them out for firebrands initially, but they are too good with chainwirlers and mettle to leave out. Relentless raptor has left plenty of seal-away casting opponents in a pickle and they're great early pressure and blockers (nullifying earthshakers for example in the RDW mirror). Been pretty smooth so far, although I won't have time to tune it completely before the update. But, afterwards the deck gets all sorts of new goodies:

for 9 mana you can hit an opponent for 10 direct damage to face? Seems like a decent finisher if things go south. If the opponent hasn't held off this type of deck for 9 turns, they deserve to lose

I still don't have all the lands for the kaladesh version, but the deck is working pretty well. I did lose against Cats twice (removal didn't want to show up), when the deck is about as anti-token as you can get...
